WHAT IS COST-OPTIMUM
Everything that can contribute to reducing consumption through “passive means” (use of the building’s thermal inertia, solar gains, natural ventilation, shading and self-shading elements) must be properly considered during the design phase. In this way, the mechanical systems component is progressively reduced in favor of a more “neutral” and “lean” building envelope capable of maintaining the achieved indoor comfort conditions. For us, this means making Passivhaus simple and economically efficient.
